摘要
目的:探讨重症婴幼儿龋(S-ECC)对儿童口腔健康相关生活质量(OHRQoL)的影响. 方法:随机选取来我院就诊的S-ECC及无龋儿童各95名,进行口腔健康状况检查,并采用学龄前儿童口腔健康影响量表(Early Childhood Oral Health Impact Scale, ECOHIS)调查儿童的OHRQoL.比较S-ECC及无龋儿童的ECOHIS得分情况,分析ECOHIS得分与患龋状况的相关性.结果:S-ECC儿童的ECOHIS总分以及在各领域的得分均明显高于无龋儿童(P<0.05).ECOHIS总分及各领域得分均与儿童的龋齿数和患龋牙面数呈正相关.S-ECC对儿童OHRQoL的影响主要体现在儿童的口腔症状、口腔功能及家长内疚感3个领域.结论:S-ECC儿童的OHRQoL低下,应引起广泛关注,并对其采取积极的治疗措施.
Abstract
AIM:To explore the impact of severe early childhood caries (S-ECC) on children's oral health related quality of life OHRQoL.METHODS:190 children were randomly selected from the patients in the clinic.The subjects were divided into the S-ECC group (n=95) and the carious free group(CF, n=95).Oral exams were conducted and a Chinese language version of the Early Childhood Oral Health Impact Scale (ECOHIS) was used to assess children's OHRQoL of the subjects.Spearman's rank correlation coefficient was calculated to evaluate the association between dental caries and ECOHIS.RESULTS:The total score of ECOHIS, scores of 2 aspects and 6 domains of the S-ECC group were statistically higher than those of CF group (P<0.05), and were positively correlated to the values of decayed teeth and surfaces.The impact of S-ECC on OHRQoL was mainly on the 3 domains of oral symptom, oral function and the parent's guilty.CONCLUSION:OHRQoL of children with S-ECC is poor, and it requires high levels of attention.Dental care of S-ECC children is highly recommended to improve their OHRQoL.
