Stem cell aggregate construction methods and current applications in dental regeneration
Tooth loss and defects are common clinical issues in the field of oral health, and traditional treat-ment methods such as dentures and implants still have numerous limitations. In recent years, with the advancement of stem cell research and tissue engineering technology, regenerative medicine has offered new hope for tooth regeneration and re-pair.Among these, mesenchymal condensation,a crucial initial event in organ morphogenesis, has been utilized to recon-struct engineered stem cell aggregates in vitro. These aggregates have been successfully applied to regenerate and repair various dental tissues, including dental pulp, dentin, and periodontal tissue. This article aims to delve into the theoretical foundation, construction methods, and current applications of stem cell aggregates in the field of tooth regeneration. The ob-jective is to provide theoretical support and experimental guidance for a deeper understanding of the biological bases of stem cell aggregates and their use in tooth regeneration.
