Research progress on small molecule compounds against Candida albicans
Candida albicans is a common opportunistic fungal pathogen in oral fungal infections.Due to the long-term use and broad utilization of antifungal drugs,drug resistance has emerged.Antifungal small molecules have good prospects in controlling fungal infections due to their excellent antibacterial activity,high stability,and low toxicity.This review summarizes the applications and antibacterial mechanisms of small molecule compounds against Candida albicans infections.
