Application of MOOCs and Seminar literature study in standardized residency training of endodontics
AIM:The aim of this study was to explore the role of MOOCs combined with Seminar literature study in standardized residency training of endodontics.METHODS:40 residents from China Medical University,school of stomatology,endodontics department in 2021(20 residents)and 2020(20 residents)were selected and divided into the control group and the research group respectively.The traditional teaching method was applied to the control group,while MOOCs combined with Seminar literature study was applied to the research group.The scores of the two groups were compared,and the satisfaction survey was investigated by questionnaire.RESULTS:The mean theoretical scores of the research group residents were significantly higher than those of the control group residents(P<0.01).Questionnaire survey showed that residents'satisfaction of MOOCs combined with Seminar literature study teaching method in terms of improving the post-competence of residents was higher than that of residents in the control group(P<0.01).CONCLUSION:The introduction of MOOCs combined with Seminar literature study teaching method in resident training of endodontics can effectively improve the teaching effect.
