Exploring the Landscape of Famous Mountains in the Field of"Symbol-Gaze-Mirror":A Case of Zhapu Nine Mountains in Zhejiang Province
In the contemporary development of famous mountain scenic spots, the aspect of pre-planned and designed image cognition for these iconic mountains is frequently overlooked, resulting in the emergence of artificial landscapes that often deviate from the true essence of landscape appreciation.Hence, the research group incorporates philosophical concepts such as mirror theory, gaze theory, and semiotics to establish a comprehensive methodological framework for the aesthetic reevaluation of landscapes by in-dividuals.These steps are categorized into symbol collection, gaze analysis, symbol reproduction, image composition, and mirror function utilization. The objective is to deconstruct and reimagine the essence of landscape phenomena, ultimately providing a the-oretical underpinning for the planning and design of renowned mountain landscapes. The research group employs landscape poems as the primary data source, carefully chosen to best exemplify the portrayal of famous mountains. It focuses its analysis on the nine mountains located in Zhapu,Zhejiang Province.Utilizing text analysis software,ROST CM6,the study conducts word frequency analysis, social network analysis, and semantic network analysis. The findings reveal that the landscape of the nine mountains in Zhapu primarily draws from natural elements, complemented by the Dragon Shrine Prayer for Rain and the distinctive cultural attributes associated with Tianfei Mazu.By employing this methodological framework,we have delineated the images of nine mountains in Zhapu as"scenic spot""rain prayer resort""literary retreat"and"hermitage",representing distinct facets of its fame. This underscores the feasibility and empirical validation of our approach towards aesthetic SGM-cognition of key landscapes. It offers a fresh and verifiable perspective for researching famous mountain images and, more broadly, the essence of landscapes. Moreover,it establishes a foundational basis for subsequent cognitive research in the realm of famous mountains landscapes.
