With the rapid development of science and technology,digital technology is gradually applied to all aspects of its application in the field of culture and the depth of the integration of the two,resulting in many emerging forms of digital culture,traditional cultural forms also began to take advantage of digital technology transformation and upgrading.In recent years,the Jiangnan garden heri-tage field has also constantly exploring digital technology and application methods,the combination of garden heritage protection and digital technology to promote the collection of information,archive management,heritage dissemination,and other work has begun to bear fruit.This paper discusses the advantages of digitizing the heritage of Jiangnan gardens from the perspective of sus-tainable development of heritage by combing the current status of digitizing research in Jiangnan gardens,and discusses the devel-opment path of sustainable development of Jiangnan gardens in the digital era from the perspective of digitizing the content of the heritage and the management of the heritage digitization.
