Research on Key Factors of Habitat Diversity Affecting Water Quality of Urban Streams in Hefei
Aiming at the current knowledge gap of urban river restoration that lacks physical space habitat research, facing the strategic needs of the national ecological civilization construction and ecological restoration of national land space, and from the per-spective of enhancing the comprehensive effectiveness of ecosystem services, the study quantitatively reveals the key factors of habitat diversity that affect the water quality of urban rivers through the intersection of disciplines.Taking the Nanfei River and Tangxi River in Hefei as empirical study cases, the study obtained water quality data and habitat data, and based on the water quality evaluation data and the habitat diversity evaluation system of URS,revealed the correlation between water quality and habitat diversity through SPSS principal component analysis and multiple linear regression. The study found the key factors simultaneously positively and significantly influenced water quality and habitat diversity. It was found that the indicators with positive and significant effects were the proportion of riparian naturalized forms, the number of riverine habitat types, the width of riparian zone planting, the riparian tree continuity index, the average coverage of aquatic vegetation, the dominant aquatic plant types, the amount of aquatic plant growth, and the riparian vegetation characteristic index; In contrast, the indicators with adverse and significant effects were the vegetation-related characteristics of riparian zones, the number of habitat types in riparian zones, the width of riparian zone planting, the width of riparian zone planting, the tree continuity index, and the veg-etation-related characteristics of riparian zone planting, riparian zone tree continuity index, average aquatic vegetation cover, dominant aquatic plant types, aquatic plant growth, and riparian vegetation characterization index.
