Study on the Local Perception of Modern Commercial City Landscape
Because of its commercial prosperity,modern commercial cities have prompted a large influx of foreign population,and the urban landscape is changing with each passing day.It is an urgent proposition to explore the local commercial and cultural traditions,give full play to the characteristics of modem commercial industry,shape the uniqueness of the urban landscape,consolidate the emotional connection between residents and cities,and stimulate people's initiative to inherit and develop land-scape locality.This paper takes Yiwu,China,the world's largest small commodity distribution center,as a case,extracts the locality of Yiwu commercial landscape through a literature review and field survey,and uses questionnaires,SPSS,and ArcGIS to analyze the influence of local commercial landscape on residents'perception and the perception characteristics of various res-idents on the locality of Yiwu commercial landscape.The results show that:(1)The firm perception of residents is conducive to the development of landscape locality;(2)The life-oriented and participatory construction process of Yiwu commerce and trade locality has enhanced residents'perceived resilience;(3)The local inheritance and development of commercial landscape has multiple potentials;(4)The local perception of Yiwu commercial landscape presents emotional diversity.The research results provide valuable insights into the local inheritance and development of the modern commercial city landscape.
