Research on Regeneration Strategy of Rural Unused Space Enabled by Natural Education
As the rural revitalization strategy gains momentum, the issue of optimizing the use of existing rural construction land has come under heightened scrutiny. This study delves into the core principles of rural nature education, examining its role in rejuvenat-ing underutilized rural areas and propelling rural revitalization forward. We investigate the classification and utilization of these spaces for productive, residential, and ecological purposes within nature education. The research refines the spatial content around three central themes:farming experiences, cultural heritage preservation, and ecological awareness. Moreover,by ana-lyzing three case studies from rural Guangzhou, where nature education has been woven into the revitalization of idle spaces, and by considering public evaluation feedback,we have identified three renewal strategies:macro-level control, business model innovation, and collaborative management. These strategies offer theoretical substance and practical direction for reinvigorating idle rural spaces through nature education, aligning with China's rural revitalization objectives.
