Objective To understand the recommendations and influencing factors of COVID-19 vaccination among medical staff in Chongqing,so as to provide a more feasible way for the development of COVID-19 vaccination and publicity strategies.Methods A self-designed questionnaire was distributed from May 1,2021 to June 31,2021 after consultation with experts.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression models were used to analyze the related factors affecting the recommendation of COVID-19 vaccination by medical staff.Results The recommendation intention of medical staff for COVID-19 vaccination was 77.75%(325/418)and the recommendation rate was 71.29%(298/418).Work experience of 15 years or more(OR=3.889,95%CI:1.448-10.443),heard or seen colleagues recommend others to receive the new Coronavirus vaccine(OR=6.529,95%CI:2.593-16.439),positive impacted of the COVID-19 vaccination atmosphere in the community(OR=5.304,95%CI:1.768-15.912),understood the national vaccination policy on the new Coronavirus vaccine(OR=2.476,95%CI:1.056-5.806)and the positive impacted of the national policy call(OR=8.021,95%CI:3.947-16.301)were the influencing factors that medical staff were willing to recommend the new Coronavirus vaccination.Conclusion The recommendation willingness and recommendation behavior of medical staff in Chongqing for new Coronavirus pneumonia vaccination need to be improved,and corresponding solutions can be proposed for the influencing factors.
