Objective To analyze the correlation between the expression characteristics of serum characteristic indexes and the degree of thoracic aorta calcification in rats. Methods From March 2020 to May 2021,a controlled experimental study was conducted on 40 healthy rats and 40 rats with calcification of the thoracic aorta(divided into a mild group with 25 cases,a moderate group with 7 cases, and a severe group with 8 cases according to the severity of calcification). The levels of total cholesterol(CHOL),triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein(LDL),high density lipoprotein(HDL),fasting blood glucose(FBG),alkaline phosphatase(ALP),intact parathyroid hormone(iPTH),albumin(Alb),hemoglobin(HGB),complement component 3(C3),calcium ion(Ca2+),phosphorus(P),creatinine(CRE),uric acid(UA),and blood urea nitrogen(BUN)were compared between the healthy group and the model group, and between the model group with different conditions.SPSS 20.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis, and the measurement data were represented by mean±standard deviation. The t-test of two independent samples was used for comparison of two groups, the F test was used for comparison of three groups, and the SNK-t test was used for pairwise comparison. Results The levels of CHOL(t=11.792,P<0.001),TG(t=14.598,P<0.001),LDL(t=12.217,P<0.001),ALP(t=42.948,P<0.001),iPTH(t=7.277,P<0.001),and complement component 3(t=26.223,P<0.001)in the model group were higher than those in the healthy group. The levels of HDL(t=16.116,P<0.001),Alb(t=19.728,P<0.001),and HGB(t=12.846,P<0.001)in the model group were lower than those in the healthy group, and the differences were statistically significant.Compared with rats with different disease conditions, the levels of CHOL(F=39.778,P<0.001),TG(F=13.068,P<0.001),LDL(F=4.252,P<0.001),HDL(F=6.213,P<0.001),iPTH(F=33.990,P<0.001),Alb(F=10.271,P<0.001),HGB(F=4.291,P<0.001),complement component 3(F=160.229,P<0.001)were statistically significant. Conclusion The degree of thoracic aorta calcification in rats is correlated with several serum indexes, lipid indexes, related enzymes, proteins, and complement.
