Objective To analyze the epidemiologic features of other infectious diarrhea disease in Huairou District,Beijing,from 2016 to 2021,and to provide scientific basis for targeted measures in Huairou District.Methods Case and population data from 2016 to 2021 were collected through the Chinese Disease Prevention Information System.Descriptive epidemiological methods were used to analyze the data.Results From 2016 to 2021,there were 5 192 cases of other infectious diarrhea disease in Huairou District,with an average annual reported incidence rate of 211.06 per 100 000.The incidence rate in males(228.64/100 000)was higher than that in females(191.89/100 000),and the difference was statistically significant(x2=39.379,P<0.001).The incidence rate was highest in the age group of 0 to<5 years old(3 138.58/100 000).The occupation with the highest incidence rate was dominated by diaspora children with 3 496 cases(proportion was 67.33%).The area with highest incidence rate was in Yanqi Town(322.74/100 000),and the lowest incidence rate was in Baoshan Town(25.97/100 000).The disease occurred in all months,presenting two incidence peaks in the winter-spring season and the summer season.Conclusion In Huairou District,the incidence rate of other infectious diarrhea disease is on a general downward trend from 2016 to 2021,with a high prevalence in children under 5 years old.The reported cases are predominantly in diaspora children.The incidence peaks are in the winter-spring season and the summer season.Health education and effective intervention measures should be targeted at key populations to reduce the incidence rate of other infectious diarrhoea disease.
