Objective To investigate an outbreak epidemic of Norovirus gastroenteritis,to analyze the causes of the outbreak and the problems of prevention and control and to provide a reference for the prevention of outbreak epidemics of Norovirus gastroenteritis. Methods From March 18 to March 28,2022,cases search were developed and case searches were performed to describe the distribution and clinical characteristics of cases.Hygienic investigations and laboratory tests were conducted, and descriptive epidemiological methods were used to statistically describe the results. Results The epidemic of Norovirus gastroenteritis occurred in a factory and 38 cases were searched, with an attack rate of 14.39%(38/264),and no severe cases or deaths. The main clinical symptoms of the cases were diarrhea(94.74%),abdominal distension(pain)(34.21%),and vomiting(31.58%).Of the anal swab specimens from 38 cases,28 portions were positive for Norovirus GⅡ.Of the 6 samples of drinking water collected from the factory,4 portions were positive for Norovirus GⅡ.Of the 28 samples of spring water from factory sources,7 portions were positive for Norovirus GⅡ.Conclusion This is an outbreak epidemic of gastroenteritis caused by the Norovirus GⅡ from the contamination of mountain spring water contamination. The epidemic is effectively controlled by taking measures such as stopping the use of mountain spring water, disinfection and case isolation.
