Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of pulmonary tuberculosis in Shangluo City from 2010 to 2022,and provide a scientific basis for the prevention and control of pulmonary tuberculosis in Shangluo. Methods A descriptive study was used to analyze the epidemiological characteristics of pulmonary tuberculosis cases in Shangluo City from 2010 to 2022.The proportions were used to describe categorical variables and the comparison of rates between two groups using the Chi-square test. Results From 2010 to 2022,a total of 18 197 pulmonary tuberculosis cases were reported in Shangluo with an annual average incidence rate of 60.35/100 000.The incidence rate showed a fluctuating trend, with the highest incidence rate in 2019 and the lowest in 2022.The temporal distribution of pulmonary tuberculosis incidence had no obvious seasonality, and the peak of incidence was in March(1 955 cases,10.74%)and the lowest in February(1 160 cases,6.37%).The disease was reported in seven counties(cities),with the highest incidence rate in Shanyang County. The incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in the city was mainly male, and the set ratio of men to women was 2.53∶1,and the reported incidence of males was higher than that of females(x2=2 835.74,P<0.05).Pulmonary tuberculosis cases were concentrated in the age groups of 40-<50 years(3 768 cases,20.71%),20-<30 years(3 703 cases,20.35%),and 50-<60 years(3 301 cases,18.14%).The main occupation of the cases was farmers(15 493 cases,85.14%),followed by students(860 cases,4.73%).Conclusion The incidence rate of pulmonary tuberculosis in Shangluo decreased significantly during the prevention and control stage of the COVID-19 epidemic(2020-2022),and pulmonary tuberculosis prevention and control should be focused on farmers and students as key populations.Shangluo should further improve the standardized management level of pulmonary tuberculosis cases, strengthen publicity and education, carry out comprehensive prevention and control measures of pulmonary tuberculosis cases, and power Shangluo's"one capital four districts"high-quality development.
