To explore the development of 16"Double First-Class"construction universities in Jiangsu after the launch of the"Double First-Class"initiative,this study analyzes their comprehensive influence.An in-depth investigation into the comprehensive influence of these universities is conducted from two aspects:scientific research construction and social impact.Data collection and descriptive analysis are performed from four dimensions:university size,high-level talents,scientific research strength,and university influ-ence,with cluster analysis used to evaluate each indicator.The results show that although there is some imbalance in the comprehensive influence of Jiangsu's"Double First-Class"construction universities,the overall trend is positive,with several indicators showing stable growth.It is recommended that universities focus on the differentiated development of disciplines,highlight their professional advantages,strengthen cooperation and interdisciplinary integration,to achieve coordinated development among universities in Jiangsu Province.
