In response to issues observed in students'learning of Medical Chemistry,such as a lack of interest,insufficient self-directed learning,varying levels of foundational abilities,outdated course content,and a disconnect between the course and medicine,cutting-edge disciplines,and real-life applications,as well as inadequate integration of ideological and political education,the teaching team has restructured the course.By addressing student needs,societal demands,and professional development,and utilizing the BOPPPS teaching model,along with a hybrid learning approach combining online and offline cycles,the team has redesigned and expanded the course content and integrated curriculum ideological and political education.These efforts effectively address the identified challenges and meet the demands of cultivating new types of pharmaceutical talent within the context of modern medical education.
