Curriculum Ideological and Political Education(CIPE)should be organically integrated with teaching content,disciplinary characteristics,and educational goals,with targeted and effective CIPE ele-ment design.This integration ensures that professional knowledge and ideological education progress in tandem,aiming to cultivate well-rounded professionals with moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic,and labor development.Taking the core course of Medical Cell Biology in pharmacy program at Sun Yat-sen University as an example,this paper discusses the necessity,current status,educational objectives,and specific implementation methods of incorporating ideological and political elements into the course.The paper introduces the exploration of CIPE in pharmaceutical education,providing a reference for the inte-gration of ideological education into basic pharmaceutical courses.
