The Necessity and Teaching Exploration of Offering Pharmacokinetics Course in Forensic Medicine
With the continuous development of new drugs and therapeutic methods,such as chemical drugs,biologics,gene interventions,and cell therapies,as well as the emergence of social issues like the abuse of psychotropic drugs,traditional forensic toxicology courses focusing on toxic substance metabolism cannot meet the needs of forensic medicine students.Therefore,integrating pharmacokinetics into the forensic medicine curriculum is highly necessary.This paper focuses on the necessity of offering pharma-cokinetics courses in forensic education.It tailors the course content and teaching model to the character-istics of forensic education,which is primarily case-based and application-oriented.By discussing practical cases,the paper explores ways to incorporate Pharmacokinetics into forensic medicine teaching,providing important insights for the development of forensic medicine training programs.
