Objective To explore the clinical ef icacy of magnesium valproate combined with risleridone in treating the negative symptoms of schizophrenia.Methods 66 cases of schizo-phrenia with negative symptoms were randomly divided into two groups,the observation group and the control group.The observation group was treated with magnesium valproate combined with risperidone while the control group was treated with risperidone alone.Then,clinical ef ects and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total ef ective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P <0.05).However,the total number of adverse reactions was similar in both groups (P >0.05 ).Conclusions Magne-sium valproate combined with risleridone has an excel ent clinical ef icacy in the treatment of schizophrenia with negative symptoms.Therefore it is worth popularizing and applying on clinic.
