The protection,inheritance,and creative transformation of traditional ethnic sports and culture in southwestern multi-ethnic settlements should be guided by socialist core values and driven by industry,integrated into the overall economic development of villages in order to improve the material living standards of villagers.Villages are the main cultural carriers,while villagers are the masters and owners of culture.The protection,inheritance,and creative transformation of culture require not only the conscious behavior of villagers,but also the attention,support,intervention,and participation from government,media and social organizations,schools,and experts and scholars.Modern transformation is the key to the inheritance and innovation of traditional ethnic culture.
