There are four types of Essays of Langkou Village written by Mr.Gu Jiegang:the Essays of Langkou Village,the reading notes made in Langkou Village,Kunming in 1939,the reading notes of Essays of Langkou Village published in the Zeshan Semimonthly from 1940 to 1941,the oil printed version of Essays of Langkou Village published by Shanghai Hezhong Library in 1949,and the First Edition Shilin Miscellaneous Knowledge published by China Book Co.,Limited in 1963.The above four kinds of Essays of Langkou Village are related to each other in content,but with some differences as well as their own characteristics and values.However,due to the complexity of the completion of the four kinds of books,confusion has occurred in reading and using,so it is necessary to sort out and analyze them.
