Dai Jitao and Higher Agriculture and Forestry Education in Northwest China
During Period of Tutelage(second stage in establishing a democratic republic raised by Dr.Sun Yat-sen in 1924),Dai Jitao made three field trips to Northwest China.In 1932,Dai Jitao,Yu Youren,Zhang Ji and other senior figures of the Kuomintang proposed the establishment of the National Northwest Junior College Agriculture and Forestry and in 1934,their goal achieved.Dai Jitao personally involved in the site selection,the establishment of agricultural colleges and affiliated organizations,the preparation of teaching staff and the formation of departments.Dai Jitao took a hands-on role in the establishment of the college which cultivated many agriculture and forestry talents for China.
