The so-called"Patient Autonomy Law"in Taiwan,China is a special legislation on the right to a good death,which clearly respects patients'autonomy and protects their rights and interests in a good death.Its contents mainly include the implementa-tion of patients'right to informed consent,medical decisions by the willing person in advance,the establishment of a medical proxy,and the strict procedures of the patient's refusal of medical treatment.The present characteristics can be summarized as that the object of the obligation to inform is mainly the patient,only the patient himself has the right to refuse medical treatment,and the scope of disposal after refusing medical treatment is wide,etc.And there is no lack of inspiration for the future legislation of the right to a good death and the construction of the relevant system of the right to a good death,the legislation to regulate the rights and obligations of the subject of the right to a good death,the establishment of the agency system of the right to a good death,the right to a good death tort liability and re-lated relief measures in mainland China.
