In recent years,the incidence of breast cancer are increasing year by year,which has surpassed lung cancer to become the most common cancer in women.The early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and the accurate evaluation of the neoadjuvant therapy efficacy are important guarantees to improve patient prognosis and improve patient quality of life.Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)is more and more widely used in the screening,early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer because of its multi-parameters,multi-sequence,multi-orientation,high sensitivity and no radiation.It participates in guiding the development of personalized treatment plan for breast cancer patients,and can predict the prognosis of breast cancer to a certain extent.The application of artificial intelligence can mine more image information and provide more value in the application of MRI for breast cancer.This article reviews the application status and research progress of MRI examination in the diagnosis,treatment and prognosis assessment of breast cancer,so as to strengthen the understanding of breast cancer and improve the level of early diagnosis and prognosis assessment of female breast cancer,and discusses the limitations and challenges of the application of MRI in breast cancer under the current background,in order to provide some suggestions for the improvement of the next research.
