Objective The imaging features of cirrhotic regenerative nodules and small hepatic carcinoma nodules were analyzed. Methods The imaging data of 66 patients with liver cirrhosis admitted to Hezhou People's Hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected to explore the imaging features of regenerative nodules and small hepatic carcinoma nodules in liver cirrhosis. Results Magnetic resonance imaging-diffusion-weighted imaging(MRI-DWI)scan showed that the average lesion size and the apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)of the cirrhotic regenerative nodule group were higher than those of the small hepatic carcinoma nodule group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=6.903,5.593,P<0.05);the rate of the slightly high signal and equal signal of T1WI in cirrhosis regenerative nodule group was higher than that in small hepatic carcinoma nodule group(χ2=12.158,10.627,P<0.05),and the presentation rate of equal signal or low signal was lower than that of small hepatic carcinoma nodule group(χ2=31.611,P<0.05).The low signal presentation rate of T2WI in the cirrhosis regenerative nodule group was higher than that in the small hepatic carcinoma nodule group, and the equal signal, high signal,or slightly high signal presentation rate was lower than that in the small hepatic carcinoma nodule group, and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=54.393,P<0.05).Conclusion Magnetic resonance imaging can better identify cirrhotic regenerative nodules and small hepatic carcinoma nodules, and improve the diagnosis rate of early hepatic carcinoma.
