Primary hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most common malignancy with rich blood supply in the liver.Due to the lack of specific symptoms and signs in the early stage, the vast majority of patients have lost the opportunity for radical surgical treatment at the time of visit. For unresectable primary HCC,transcatheter arterial chemoembolization is the preferred treatment.Radiomics is a technology that can mine and use information from medical images in high throughput and depth to reflect tumor heterogeneity and other cell biological characteristics, and has shown unique advantages in the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment response and survival prognosis of primary HCC.This article mainly reviewed the application progress of radiomics in the prediction of efficacy, recurrence and survival of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization for primary HCC,and discussed the existing problems and future research directions.
