Objective To analyze the efficacy of transvaginal ultrasonography and transabdominal ultrasonography in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy. Methods A total of 253 patients suspected of early tubal pregnancy admitted to Linyi Central Hospital from January 2019 to November 2023 were selected. All of them underwent transabdominal ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound,as well as laparoscopic exploration surgery. The clinical diagnostic value of different examination methods was compared based on the diagnostic results of laparoscopic exploration. Results Of 253 patients,247 were positive and 6 were negative. The sensitivity and accuracy of transvaginal ultrasonography were significantly higher than that of transabdominal ultrasonography(P<0.05).The detection rates of"tubal ring"sign and trophoblast flow spectrum of transvaginal ultrasound were higher than those of transabdominal ultrasound(P<0.05).The typical characteristics of ectopic pregnancy were adnexal mass, false pregnancy sac, germ, pelvic effusion and original blood vessel pulsation, which were detected by transvaginal ultrasound were higher than those by transabdominal ultrasound(P<0.05).Conclusion Transvaginal ultrasound has higher diagnostic efficacy in the early diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy in fallopian tubes, and clinical application is recommended.
