Objective To evaluate the application effect of Ethiodized Poppyseed oil and Ioversol in Hysterosalpingography.Methods According to the different iodine contrast,we selected 400 patients who underwent hysterosalpingography(HSG)in our hospital from April 2021 to October 2023,and randomly divided them to Ethiodized Poppyseed oil group and Ioversol group,with 200 in each group.The two groups were compared in quality of imaging,diagnostic results,situation of iodine contrast counterflow and occurrence of adverse reactions.Results In terms of image quality,the superiority rate was 97%in Ethiodized Poppyseed oil group and 92%in Ioverol group.After statistical comparison,there was significant difference between the two groups(P＜0.05).In terms of diagnostic results,there were totally 397 oviduct in Ethiodized Poppyseed oil group,including 13 unobstruction and smooth,148 unobstruction and almost smooth,163 unobstruction but not smooth,56 distal oviduct adhesion and 17 obstruction.There were totally 394 oviduct in Ioversol group,including 9 unobstruction and smooth,157 unobstruction and almost smooth,168 unobstruction but not smooth,47 distal oviduct adhesion and 13 obstruction.After statistical comparison,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P＞0.05).In situation of iodine contrast counterflow,the incidence of reverse current was 4.5%in Ethiodized Poppyseed oil group and 5.5%in Ioverol group.After statistical comparison,the difference between the two groups was not significant(P＞0.05).In occurrence of adverse reactions,the incidence was 1.5%in Ethiodized Poppyseed oil group and 5.5%in Ioverol group.Statistical significance was observed between the two groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion During the hysterosalpingography examination,there is better quality of imaging and less occurrence of adverse reactions in Ethiodized Poppyseed oil group than in Ioversol group.And it is worth being promoted to use Ethiodized Poppyseed oil.
