Objective To analyze the effect of digital breast tomosynthesis(DBT)on the diagnosis of breast cancer with asymmetric mammographic densities. Methods A total of 120 patients with breast diseases treated in Heze Hospital of Shandong Provincial Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected, including 50 patients with asymmetric mammographic density breast cancer and 70 patients with benign breast diseases. All patients underwent DBT and mammography,to compare the efficacy of different examination methods in the diagnosis of asymmetric mammographic density breast cancer, and to compare the diagnosis results of molecular classification of breast cancer. Results The results of DBT diagnosis showed that 52 cases were positive and 68 cases were negative.Mammogram results showed 45 positive cases and 75 negative cases. The sensitivity and accuracy of DBT in the diagnosis of asymmetric mammographic density breast cancer were higher than that of mammography(P<0.05).The detection rate of DBT in mastitis, cyst with infection was higher than that in mammography diagnosis(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the detection rate of DBT and mammography in breast hyperplasia and fibroadenoma(P>0.05).The detection rate of DBT in breast lobular carcinoma and breast angiosarcoma was higher than that of mammography(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the detection rate of DBT and mammography in ductal carcinoma and ductal carcinoma combined with lobular carcinoma(P>0.05).Conclusion DBT has high diagnostic efficiency in asymmetric mammographic density breast cancer, and can classify and diagnose benign and malignant breast diseases with high detection rate.
