Early detection and accurate evaluation of benign and malignant ovarian tumors is very important for clinical management and surgical timing.Ultrasound is currently the preferred technique for clinical screening and evaluation of ovarian tumors. However, due to the complex and diverse tissue types of ovarian tumors and the strong subjective dependence of ultrasound diagnosis, the clinical missed diagnosis rate and misdiagnosis rate cannot be underestimated. With the development of imaging technology, multimodal ultrasound technology has improved the ability to identify ovarian tumors, and has prominent advantages in the diagnosis of ovarian tumors. In this paper, the application of two-dimensional gray scale ultrasound, color Doppler ultrasound,contrast-enhanced ultrasound and artificial intelligence evaluation combined with ultrasound images in the diagnosis of benign and malignant ovarian tumors is reviewed.
