Cervical lymphadenopathy(CLA)may be a common clinical disease or a sign of a certain disease. The causes of CLA are complex, and the nature of lymph node lesions is closely related to the severity of the disease and the direction of diagnosis and treatment. The accurate diagnosis of unexplained CLA using medical images largely relies on the experience of radiologists, which is not very friendly to young radiologists lacking professional experience and CLA patients in underdeveloped countries and regions.Texture Analysis(TA)is an important clinical tool that has emerged in recent years. It can recognize subtle differences that cannot be observed by the human eye and analyze differences in human tissue by extracting texture features from different images. As a diagnostic method for the nature of lymph node lesions,TA can distinguish between benign and malignant lymph node lesions, improving the accuracy and specificity of clinical diagnosis. The article reviewed the application of texture analysis in the differentiation of benign and malignant cervical lymph nodes.
