This article reviews the research progress of high-resolution CT(HRCT)in evaluating the infiltration of ground glass nodules(GGN)in lung adenocarcinoma.By analyzing the quantitative parameters(such as size, density, mass, etc.)and qualitative sign(such as lobulation sign, spiculation sign, pleural depression sign, etc.)of GGN,predict the degree of infiltration of GGN.However, existing methods have strong subjectivity, low efficiency, and are prone to misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis. In recent years, the application of artificial intelligence(AI)assisted diagnosis of pulmonary nodules has achieved significant results. It can quickly identify pulmonary nodules, improve accuracy, and reduce missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis. In the future, with the unification of clinical evaluation standards and further development of AI technology, the prediction of GGN infiltration will be more accurate to achieve precise medical care for patients.
