Objective To analyze the bone age detection of children at different ages under X-ray.Methods A total of 82 children who underwent X-ray bone age detection in Xi'an Hospital of Civil Aviation and Xi'an Angel Maternity Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected.TW3-CRUS method was used to determine bone age, life age and the difference between them(D value)in children of different ages.Pearson correlation was used to analyze the correlation between bone age and life age in children. The D value distribution of children of different genders was analyzed. Results Bone age in males at 9-11 years old was higher than that at life age(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between bone age and life age at 3-5 years old,6-8 years old and 12-14 years old(P>0.05).Bone age in females at 6-8 years old and 9-11 years old was higher than that at life age(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between life age and bone age at 3-5 years old and 12-14 years old(P>0.05).The D value of female children aged 6 to 8 years old and 9 to 11 years old was higher than that of male children(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that bone age was positively correlated with life age in both male and female children(r=0.972,0.988,P<0.05).There were no significant differences in life age, height, weight, blood pressure and bone age among children of different genders(P>0.05).The proportion of D value distribution of women in 1<D≤2 was significantly higher than that of males(P<0.05).Conclusion Children of multiple ages have a bone age greater than their age at life, especially in the age group of 9-11 years old for males and 6-11 years old for females.Bone age is positively correlated with the life age of children, and the bone age development of females has an advanced trend, which should be paid attention to.
