Objective To investigate the value of ultrasound elastography(UE)in differentiating ovarian hemorrhagic cysts from endometriotic cysts. Methods 87 patients with ovarian cysts admitted to the Second Hospital of Xiamen Medical College from August 2023 to February 2024 were selected and divided into the ovarian endometriotic cyst group(n=50)and the ovarian hemorrhagic cyst group(n=37)after surgical pathology and ultrasound follow-up confirmation, and the two groups were compared with each other in terms of the depth of the lesion, the diameter of the lesion, and the parameters of ultrasound elastography[standard deviation of elasticity value(SD),elasticmodulus mean(Emean),maximum value(Emax),minimum value(Emin)],plotted the Receiver Operating Characteristic(ROC)curve, and calculated the area under the ROC curve(AUC),and analyzed the discriminative value of SD,Emean,Emax, and Emin for ovarian hemorrhagic cysts and endometriotic cysts. Results SD,Emean,Emax, and Emin were significantly higher than those of ovarian hemorrhagic cysts in patients in the ovarian endometriotic cyst group(P<0.05).SD,Emean,Emax,and Emin AUC values were found to be>0.6 by ROC curve analysis, which had certain discriminative value. Conclusion UE has high application value in identifying ovarian endometriotic cysts and ovarian hemorrhagic cysts, which can provide more information for the diagnosis of the disease, and provide reference for the development of clinical targeted treatment.
