Objective To analyze the value of multi-b-value diffusion weighted imaging(DWI)and MRI-enhanced scanning in the assessment of postoperative recurrence and pseudoprogression of glioma. Methods 46 postoperative glioma patients admitted to the Affiliated Dazu's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University during July 2023 to January 2024 were retrospectively collected, and all the patients were examined by magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),multi-b-value DWI.The diagnostic value of multiple b-value DWI and enhanced MRI scan for glioma was analyzed, and the correlation between apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)and distributed diffusion coefficient(DDC)was further analyzed. Results Forty-six patients were included in this study, and 26 cases of glioma recurrence and 20 cases of pseudoprogression were clearly detected;ADC,D,f,DDC,and α values were lower than those of the pseudoprogression group in the glioma recurrence group, and D* value was higher than those of the pseudoprogression group(P<0.05);ROC curves were plotted, and the results showed that the AUC of ADC,D,D*,f,DDC and α values were all>0.7,which has certain diagnostic value;the bivariate Pearson correlation test was used to analyze the positive correlation between DDC and ADC values(P<0.05).Conclusion Multi-b-value DWI and MRI-enhanced scanning have high value in the differential diagnosis of postoperative recurrence and pseudoprogression of gliomas, and can provide a reliable diagnostic basis for clinical diagnosis.
