Simulation and optimization of process parameters of sulfur wet granulation forming disc
The process of sulfur solidification in the wet-process sulfur pelletizing liquid is studied by Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)simulation.Taking the forming disk as the research object,the dynamics and heat transfer process of sulfur droplets in cooling water under different process parameters of the forming disk are calculated and analyzed.The particle quality,such as particle morphology,sulfur proportion of fine powder and particle adhesion,was analyzed.The influence of the main parameters of the forming disc on the forming quality of sulfur,such as the temperature of liquid sulfur,the height of liquid surface of liquid sulfur,the aperture of the forming disc and the height of liquid sulfur into water were obtained.
