Design of Rear Structure the Hairpin-type Heat Exchanger Based on ANSYS
The flange and end cap component of a hairpin-type heat exchanger was carried out static structural analysis to study the strength of special shaped flange, the simplified method of bolts and the selection of gasket based on the Finite Element Analysis(FEA).Particular attention was paid to finite element analysis procedure, evaluation process based on ASME Ⅷ-2,bolt simplification and selection of gasket.Body-body(beam)bolt obtains conservative results and helps to increase computation speed.Solid bolt helps to display the stress distribution and reflect the difference of stress in different position.Reasonable selection of gasket is very important for sealing effect and flange strength. The aim of this analysis is to provide design and analytical reference for flange and end cap component of a hairpin-type heat exchanger.
