Effect of Eight Trigrams Boxing on Cancer-related Fatigue of Patients with Postoperative Chemotherapy of Cervical Cancer
The purpose of this study is to explore the influence and potential mechanism of eight trigrams boxing on cancer-related fatigue(CRF)of patients with postoperative chemotherapy of cervical cancer.54 patients with postoperative chemotherapy of cervical cancer and CRF as well as 35 cervical cancer patients without CRF were recruited in this study.54 patients diagnosed with cervical cancer and CRF were stochastically separated into two groups:eight trigrams boxing group and control group.Routine nursing care was employed in 27 cases of patients in the control group, while patients in the eight trigrams boxing group received supplemented eight trigrams boxing intervention based on the routine nursing care.Brief fatigue index(BFI)score,Hamilton depression(HAMD)score were detected in cervical cancer patients. There is a significant promotion in BFI and HAMD scores in cervical cancer patients with CRF in comparison with cervical cancer patients without CRF(P<0.05).Furthermore,the BFI and HAMD scores in cervical cancer patients of eight trigrams boxing group were greatly down-regulated in comparison with the control group(P<0.05).Eight trigrams boxing intervention can moderate the symptoms of CRF and ameliorate the quality of life in patients with postoperative chemotherapy of cervical cancer.Overall, the present study provides theoretical and practical meaning for clinical application of eight trigrams boxing intervention in patients with postoperative chemotherapy of cervical cancer.
