With the connotative development of Chinese universities,the number and category of assets have increased rapidly,and the management difficulty has continued to escalate.The traditional asset management model generally has many disadvantages,such as decentralized functions,unclear responsibilities and poor information flow,which directly affect the efficiency of asset management.The arrival of the big data era has provided new development ideas for the full life cycle management of university assets.This paper discusses the existing problems of university asset management in China,and proposes the optimization path of full life cycle management of university assets in the background of big data,so as to give full play to the role of assets in promoting the sustainable development of universities.
