Acoustic emission process during bubble bursting in free space
Bubble bursting is a common phenomenon in nature and industrial and agricultural production.During the bursting process, bubbles are strongly disturbed by air flow, which leads to strong aero-acoustics.In this paper, the acoustic characteristics of suspended bubbles bursting in free space are studied by combining experiment with theory. It is found that with the increase of liquid surface tension coefficient, the characteristic amplitude of acoustic emission gradually increases. With the increase of bubble radius, the characteristic amplitude of acoustic emission gradually increases. The theoretical calculation results are basically consistent with the experimental results.
