Torsional vibration test, diagnosis and data analysis of a vehicle driveline system
The abnormal vibration and booming noise excited by the driveline in the cab of a light truck during acceleration are studied in this paper.Firstly, the torsional vibration of transmission system, noise and vibration in the vehicle are tested in order to understand the generation mechanism of them in the vehicle.Secondly, the causes of stall and abnormal peak in the speed curve under the condition of acceleration are studied, and the data are denoised and regenerated by means of low-pass filtering and setting voltage fluctuation buffer region. The test data are analyzed, and it is found that torsional resonance occurs when the second order excitation frequency of the engine reaches the natural frequency of the vehicle driveline during the acceleration process. In addition, there is the problem of unbalanced rotation of the transmission shaft. These vibrations are transmitted into the vehicle through the suspension, intermediate support and rear axle leaf spring, causing abnormal vibration and roaring noise in the cab.The results of the test and analysis indicate that the method of testing and diagnosing the torsional vibration of the power train and processing the abnormal data in this paper is correct, which can provide a reference for the research of the torsional vibration testing of the vehicle driveline.
