Experimental study on the purification of urea granulation tower exhaust gas by acoustic agglomeration technology
Most of the urea pelletizing towers use water washing process to treat the tail gas dust, there are more serious problems of fine particle dust spillage and water vapor trailing,so the application of acoustic ag-glomeration technology in pelletizing tower tail gas treatment was investigated in depth. The effect of acoustic waves and spraying on dust removal efficiency was investigated experimentally and it was found that the best dust removal efficiency of 74.49%was achieved at 3500 Hz for acoustic waves alone and a similar efficiency of 73.83%was achieved at 2600 Hz for spraying together. The agglomeration efficiency based on the particle size test was used as an evaluation index. The results showed that the agglomeration efficiency was 30.37%and 28.82%at 2600 Hz for acoustic wave and spray alone, respectively, and the agglomeration efficiency was significantly increased to 57.95%at 2600 Hz for synergistic action. This study can provide theoretical and data support for subsequent granulation tower engineering modifications.
