Modelling and analysis of the longitudinal vibration characteristics of piezoelectric thin bar with partial excitation
To solve the problem of the relationship between the excited part and the excited mode in the partial excited piezoelectric longitudinal transducer, this paper uses the piezoelectric thin bar distribution parameter model and constructs an equivalent circuit. The relationship between the length of the excitation section and the excited mode and the resonance characteristics of the excited mode are studied by calculating the zero-pole of its mechanical impedance. The effect of different excitation lengths on the resonance characteristics of piezoelectric thin bar is simulated and analyzed by the finite element method.Comparison of their results shows that the theoretical model is in good agreement with the finite element simulation calculations. The results can provide a theoretical basis for the design of partial excitation methods and multimodal longitudinal vibration transducers.
