The measurement method of emission acoustic field of water immersion ultrasonic line focusing probe
Aviation components are commonly processed and manufactured with small-diameter bars, and the defect detection of bars has become an important means to ensure the quality of component processing and use. However, the sound beam divergence is easy to occur when the water immersion ultrasonic point focus detects cylindrical or spherical workpieces, and the detection sensitivity is low,and the water immersion ultrasonic line focusing probe is a special application for the detection of small diameter bar surfaces, and its sound field distribution determines the detection ability and detection efficiency of the probe,so the sound field measurement of the line focusing probe is of great significance for the detection of small diameter bars.Three immersion line focused ultrasound probes with a nominal frequency of 10 MHz and a focal length of 25 mm,38 mm and 60 mm in water, and a nominal frequency of 15 MHz and a focal length of 20 mm in water, were selected. The large flat bottom,Φ3.18 mm ball target and Φ1.5 mm steel rod were used as reflectors, and the probe motion was driven by the three-axis automation device to obtain the characteristic parameters of the sound field of the probe measured by different reflectors, and the measurement results were compared, and the measurement method of the line focusing probe was analyzed. The results show that the accurate sound field distribution of the line focusing probe can be obtained by using the steel wire adjusted spherical target method, and the more accurate sound field characteristic parameters of the line focusing probe can be obtained by using the steel wire method combined with the spherical target.
