Research on variational mode decomposition of concrete defect single and ultrasonic imaging method
The highly scattering characteristics of concrete limit the resolution of acoustic imaging of defect. This paper uses a method based on the combination of variational mode decomposition and total focusing method. The received signal is decomposed into multiple intrinsic mode functions, and the correlation coefficient between each intrinsic mode function and the excitation signal is calculated. The signal is weighted and reconstructed to realize the extraction of the characteristic signal, and improve the robustness of the imaging algorithm to the mutual interference of scattered waves between concrete defects. The comparative experiment is set up to study the influence of the signal processing method on the imaging results in concretes structures with different defects. The experimental results show that the method has better robustness to weak scattering and scattering interference.Compared with the imaging method based on raw data,it can better restore the internal structure of concrete.
