250 kHz transmitting and receiving integrated transducer
In response to the application demand in the field of hydroacoustic for high efficiency transmitting and high sensitivity receiving, overlapping frequency bands of transmitting and receiving, and structurally integrated high frequency hydroacoustic transducer,in this paper,a high-sensitivity transducer with inte-grated transceiver is developed. The transducer consists of two nested transmitter and receiver units, with the transmitter unit using 1-3 composite materials and the receiver unit using a single metal plate piezoelectric ceramic array structure.Firstly, the frequencies of the transmitter unit and receiver unit are determined by finite element simulation to meet the transducer conditions.Secondly, the receiver unit adopts a modified piezoelectric ceramic structure to improve the electromechanical coupling coefficient and thus the reception sensitivity. Finally, the transducer prototype was prepared and tested. The results show that the resonant frequency of the transmitter unit is 249 kHz,the anti-resonant frequency of the receiver unit is 253 kHz,and the maximum sensitivity of the receiver unit is-173.5 dB,which satisfies the transceiver condition and high sensitivity performance.
