On the Creative Transformation of Contemporary Industrial Heritage
Industrial heritage has the characteristics of large spatial scale,flexible transformation,and special beauty of ruins.The recycling of its buildings can reduce land waste.Currently,the creative transformation of industrial heritage has become an important way for its reuse,but there are contradictions in the demand for buildings with different attributes,contradictions in the benefits of different regions,and economic contradictions between art and commerce.Therefore,it is necessary to clarify the main part of heritage,explore cultural connotations,face up to regional disparities,seek experience,introduce the whole-cycle planning and evaluation process of transformation,and build a multi-stakeholder system to promote the creative transformation of industrial heritage.
