The Impact of Tourism Consumption on the Integration Efficiency in Old Revolutionary Areas:An Empirical Study on County Panel Based on the Former Central Soviet Area of Jiangxi,Fujian, and Guangdong
Relying on red cultural resources to achieve integrated development is an important issue for the revitalization and development of old revolutionary areas in the new era,and it is significant to reveal the promoting effect of tourism consumption on the efficiency of integrated development. On the basis of systematically clarifying the mechanism of tourism consumption on the efficiency of integrated development, the tourism consumption index and the measurement index system of integrated development efficiency are constructed, and the integrated development efficiency and its changing trend of 108 counties(cities, districts)in the Central Original Soviet Area from 2018 to 2022 are comprehensively measured. The bidirectional fixed effect and threshold effect models are used to explore the impact of tourism consumption on integration efficiency. The research shows that:(ⅰ)During the research period, the development trend of integration development efficiency is generally good and tends to be balanced. Its growth mainly depends on the improvement of technical efficiency, and the follow-up power of the positive growth mechanism is insufficient and there are significant spatial differences.(ⅱ)tourism consumption realizes the transfer of input resources through industrial association, which significantly improves the efficiency of integrated development, and its impact exhibits varying degrees of spatial heterogeneity and dynamic cumulative lag effect.(ⅲ)Under the influence of tertiary industry dominance, the impact of tourism consumption on the efficiency of integrated development has a dual threshold feature within the former Central Soviet Area. The impact of tourism consumption on the efficiency of integration in Jiangxi and Fujian provinces is greater than that in Guangdong Province. The degree of openness of Guangdong Province is significantly negatively correlated with the efficiency of integration.
