The development of the Youth League in Hunan during the Great Revolutionary period showed a change from the"twin stars"of Changsha and Anyuan to the"single star"of Changsha,and its endeavor to become"proletarian"failed to materialize.In the end,it remained a"student league"composed mainly of students.An examination of the organizational development patterns of the Youth League in Hunan in different parts of the country shows that Changsha and Anyuan were among the best in terms of organizational development,and that the patterns of organizational development were similar but different.The overall development of the Youth League in Hunan during the Great Revolutionary period was good,but there were still significant limitations.The organizational difficulties of lack of funds and talents were present throughout,which weakened its organizational capacity to a considerable extent,and eventually led to the Youth League in Hunan being"big but not strong".
