A Generation's Fear and Love:Town Narrative Study of Post-70s Generation Writers
The post-70s generation is an intermediate generation between revolution and market, while towns serve as intermediate zones between urban and rural areas. The superposition of this "middle state" makes the "Post-70s" writers' small town literary creation unique, which is mainly reflected in the content and narration. In terms of theme performance, small town literature describes the embarrassment of the small town youth wandering at the crossroads of life and towns, and describes the longing and pain of small town youth through the typical portrayal. In terms of narration,"departure-looking back" and "pursuit-disillusionment" are the most common narrative patterns in the town literature of "post-70s" writers, where the innocent past and the mundane reality share common emotional threads. The writing of town literature by post-70s writers portrays the life experiences and emotional journeys of a generation serving as a key to understanding the process of reform and opening up.
